Aug 26, 2008 · I’ve been shooting a tikka t3 hunter in 7mm for the last 5 years. Great gun, but maybe a little bit on the light side. Smooth action and very accurate out of the box. The gun really enjoys expensive ammunition (hornady superformance SST) and hates cheap ammo (fusion). Pricey rifle to take to the range, but worth is when hunting season starts.

It is a 7mm mag, T3 lite, non stainless and I do have another scope but it has a 50mm objective where the brand new scope I bought for this new Tikka is a Zeiss 3x9x40mc. I broke the barrel in as per what Lilja says for there barrel break-in so it got a little cruddy to begin with but now it is mostly powder residue that I find.
